I really hate this whole idea that if you major in anything but pre-law, pre-med or business you’re somehow a failure. There’s more to life than waking up every morning to put on a suit and go collect a paycheck until you’re too old to work anymore. It’s cool if you WANT to do that, but it’s not for everyone.
Wha…? I don’t even get this. Graphic design is a really practical degree, even, why are they picking on arts degrees in particular? Why is fine art more “useless” than, say, liberal arts?
Do people think you don’t actually need training to do creative work? (You do) Or that there are no jobs in art? (There are). It really depends on the program, and the student, and blah why am I even responding to this, NBC ur stupid.
